Job Title: Vice President of Sales (VP of Sales) – Craft Brewery

Company Overview: Fort Myers Brewing Company is a rapidly growing microbrewery committed to serving our friends and neighbors by brewing world class beer in SWFL. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Sales to lead our sales team into continued growth in our second decade of business in the competitive craft beer market. Job Description: The VP of Sales at Fort Myers Brewing Company will drive our sales strategy and expand our brand presence by leading, mentoring, and growing our sales team to achieve revenue targets and build strong relationships with our distribution partners, retailers, and consumers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve short-term and long-term revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing regular performance feedback.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Monitor sales performance and generate regular sales reports for presentation to senior management.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure supply chain efficiency and product availability.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the brewery and build brand recognition.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role; experience in the beer or beverage industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the craft beer market, industry trends, and distribution channels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for sales meetings, events, and other business-related activities.
